Comprehensive Environmental Reforms

In recent parliamentary sessions, Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu has been a vocal advocate for environmental sustainability and agricultural resilience. On February 5, 2025, during the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, he urged Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to expand the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) to cover every acre and crop cultivated by farmers. Devarayalu emphasized the critical role of agriculture in national progress and the necessity of comprehensive insurance coverage to protect farmers from environmental uncertainties.

Beyond policy advocacy, Devarayalu has engaged directly with communities to promote environmental initiatives. In March 2024, he visited Karuchola village in Edlapadu Mandal, where he addressed the restoration of a deteriorating pond, installation of water facilities for households, and the construction of side drains and a community hall. These efforts aim to enhance local infrastructure and environmental management, reflecting his commitment to grassroots development.
